For our main summer holiday we went to Majorca. Using easyJet we flew from Luton (its only ten minutes down the road). We stayed this time on the east coast just south of Porto Cristo in the tiny resort of Cala Mendia. It was very quiet and not at all touristy. Stay at a very good self catering apartment run by Pierre et Vacances - the Mallorca Vista Alegre. Unusually, we did did not hire a car, and found we did not need one. Generally we had a relaxing time and enjoyed eating out.
